GPS Algebra Support Classes
I began class by answering all questions on the GPS Algebra homework assignment (Review Worksheet for Unit 4 Quiz #1) that is due today.
You were then given Lesson 2.11 Practice Worksheet. This assignment reviews finding the Axis of Symmetry and the Vertex of a Quadratic Function. You were assignmed # 1, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 to complete. You were to circle these problems on your paper.
Then on the back of the handout we went through # 2 and 9 (one problem from each of the two sections assigned) together step-by-step in class. This assigment was turned in at the end of the class period. You will be given it back at the very beginning of class tomorrow to complete it. You were told that these 7 problems will be graded for accuracy.
GPS Algebra Classes
I began class by handing back the homework assignment (page 53 # 9-13 and page 54 # 7, 8, and 15) from last Wednesday that you turned in on Thursday. I explained how this assignment was graded and then the worked-out solutions were put on the document camera, one at a time.
The rest of the class period was spent going over the solutions to the Review Worksheet for the Unit 4 Quiz #1. The Unit 4 Quiz #1 is tomorrow!
The homework assignment for today is to study and prepare for the Unit 4 Quiz #1.
