GPS Algebra Support Classes
We began class by discussing the support class. You were given a General Information handout that we went through in detail.
I reminded you of the supplies needed for the class.
*Be sure to get a new Spiral Notebook (70 pages) for this semester and bring it with you to class each day. You must have this by Tuesday, January 17th. Use this Spiral Notebook ONLY for the GPS Algebra Support Class. I will let you know exactly what to include in this notebook. DO NOT add any additional information!
You were also reminded of my extra help opportunities that will be available each week.
*Attend Extra Help Sessions, if necessary! I am available each week on Tuesday afternoons from 3:35 – 3:55 and on Thursday mornings from 7:55 – 8:15.
You were given Lesson 1.6 Practice B handout to complete in class. We will go over this assignment tomorrow.
GPS Algebra Classes
You were given the Unit 3 Calendar (2nd half). We went over the calendar in detail.
You were then given the Domain and Range in Context Task. I read the task to you and then had you work through it. You were to work individually first, then compare your results with a student sitting around you, and then we went over the solutions together as a class. All of this was done a few problems at a time.
*7th period only will finish going over the solutions tomorrow.
