End of Fall Semester

Remember that GPS Algebra and GPS Algebra Support are year long courses.  This means that we are now halfway through the course and you will begin Spring Semester with the grade you currently have now.

*You have until the end of the school year to get your grade where you want it to be!

You also got back the Final Exam Practice Assessment.  We went over all ten problems in class, step-by-step.

*Make sure your Spiral Notebook is ready to use on the Final Exam next week.

GPS Algebra Classes

You received a current grade printout so that you are aware of your average going into the Final Exam.

The Unit 3 Test #1 was handed back and all questions were answered.

The rest of the class period was spent going over multiple-choice questions, one at a time, on the document camera.  You were given time to copy the problem, work it out, and then we went over the solution.

*Make sure to spend time studying and preparing for the Final Exam.

GPS Algebra Support Classes

The first half of the class was spent reviewing.  You took the Final Exam Review Assessment during the second half.  You were able to use your Spiral Notebook to help you.

Bring any questions over Unit 1, 2, and 3 to class tomorrow.  You will receive the Final Exam Review Assessment back tomorrow as well.

GPS Algebra Classes

I answered all of your questions over Unit 3 today in class.  For the rest of the class, I put up one multiple-choice question at a time on the document camera.  You were given time to copy the problem, work it out, and then we went over the solution.

You will receive your Unit 3 Test #1 back in class tomorrow.

GPS Algebra Support Classes

You received back your Final Exam Practice Assessment.  You were given time to look over what you missed.  The correct answers were written on your paper for you.  We then went over each of the ten problems in detail in class.

You will have another Final Exam Practice Assessment tomorrow.

The goal of these assessments is to help you practice answering multiple-choice questions, which is the same format that the Final Exams for both the support and regular GPS Algebra class will be.  Also, since you are allowed to use your Spiral Notebook on these assessments, you should be getting very familiar with using your Spiral Notebook and where the material is in it. 

*Remember that you may use your Spiral Notebook for the GPS Algebra Support Final Exam.

GPS Algebra Classes

I answered all questions over Unit 2 today in class.  If there was time remaining, I put up one multiple-choice question at a time on the document camera.  You were given time to copy the problem, work it out, and then we went over the solution.

Tomorrow all questions over Unit 3 will be answered.
