GPS Algebra Support Classes
I put up the information that needs to be included in the Spiral Notebook for the check. We highlighted several parts and you were given a chance to fill in anything you were missing. The Spiral Notebook Check took place today. You turned in your Spiral Notebook, it was graded during class, and you received both your Spiral Notbook and the grade sheet back today.
We spent the class period reviewing what was taught yesterday in GPS Algebra. We went through several examples of finding the domain and range of a graphed function and writing the answer in interval notation.
GPS Algebra Classes
The solutions to the Domain and Range Worksheet were put on the document camera at the beginning of class and you were given time to check your answers and ask questions.
I then gave you a chance to work through two more examples (one at a time). You were shown a graphed function and had to state the domain and range in interval notation. We went over the solution to both of these.
You were given the majority of the class period to work on the Review for the Unit 3 Quiz #1 out of the textbook. It was stressed to you in class that the review does not cover all of the topics that will be on Quiz tomorrow. The assignment was:
Page 9 # 1-6, 9-10, and 13
Page 13 # 1, 5, 7, 8, and 13
Page 41 # 1, 3, 13, and 17
You were given a copy of the solutions towards the end of the period. You had time in class to check your answers and ask questions.
The note at the bottom of the solutions handout said: Remember this review does not include all topics that will be on the Quiz tomorrow. Be sure to go back and review all notes, classwork, and homework assignments we have completed so far in Unit 3.
The homework assignment for today is to complete the review from class, if necessary, and review over all of the worksheets you have for Unit 3 to help you prepare for the Unit 3 Quiz #1.
