GPS Algebra Support Classes
I went back over the ten items that must be in the Spiral Notebook for the next check. The next Spiral Notebook Check will be this Wednesday, November 16th.
You were given a Practice Worksheet on:
1) Writing ordered pairs from an input-output table
2) Identifying ordered pairs from a graph and then stating the domain and range
3) Graphing linear functions
I did # 1, 3, 7, and 13 with you in class. You were to complete the assignment in class. I went over the solutions in class and answered any questions that you had.
GPS Algebra Classes
The two review assignments from last week were graded and returned to you in class today. These assignments were:
1) Extra Practice on Solving Equations and Order of Operations Worksheet
2) Extra Practice on Factoring Worksheet
I explained how each of these were graded (see Pinnacle for details). Each assignment had a worked-out solution key stapled to your paper when it was returned. Therefore, you now have the correct answers for both of these assignments.
*If you did not turn in one or both of these assignments, I still provided you with a worked-out solution key.
You were then given the Graphing Functions Task and I explained the directions to you. You were assigned one or two other students to work with and able to work on completing this task for the majority of the class period. Make sure to bring the completed task with you to class tomorrow.
The homework assignment for today is to make sure that the Graphing Functions Task is complete and to bring it with you to class tomorrow.
