GPS Algebra Support Classes
The Spiral Notebooks were collected today. They will be graded and returned to you tomorrow in class.
We continued to review Solving Rational Equations by working in the Notetaking Guide. Today we looked specifically at the strategy of Multiplying by the LCD. I completed with you in class # 10-12 on page 194 and # 13 and 15 on page 195.
You were to complete # 14, 16, 17, and 18 on page 195. The solutions were put on the document camera and questions were answered.
We then began together # 3 on page 192. We will complete this problem tomorrow at the beginning of class.
GPS Algebra Classes
We went over notes on Simplifying and Multiplying Radical Expressions. This is Lesson 3.4, which begins on page 142 in the textbook. The PowerPoint included eight examples. Use these examples to help you complete your homework assignment.
The solutions to the Rational Review Worksheet were handed out. You were given time to check your answers for accuracy as well as ask questions in class.
The homework assignment for today is: Page 144 # 1-9 all and # 19-24 all.
*It was announced in class today that you will have a Quiz over all of the material on Rationals this Friday, October 28th.
